– Holographic Installation
This is a pre-visualization of my holographic installation which was initially exhibited at Tamarind Art Gallery New York.
An evocation of time perception and existence illuminated through painting, holography and animation installation.
Simply described, ‘Grace’ is an animated portrait hologram with two curved projection walls, the wall forward of the hologram depicts the waking world, her window of reality; the wall behind Grace, ‘the uncontrollable dream world’. The holographic portrait of Grace is asleep or awake depending on the viewer’s POV. The speed of Grace’s animation depends on how fast the viewer walks by the portrait hologram ....interacting with her gaze.
